Yep. I have to keep reminding myself that his given name actually is “Randy Stewart Rainbow” because it’s so damn unlikely that a camp, queer comedian would actually be named that. His father, also a musician, legally changed his last name to “Rainbow” before he had a kid he named “Randy.”
Whoo boy, I can only imagine. Either the first name or the last name would have been a cause for grief, but both…
