Frankly, I’m astonished he’s writing in the past tense again. I thought he’d given that up after his first couple of novels.

I can’t see it on my kindle yet. I suspect it is not out until tomorrow. I have it on pre-order. Maybe amazon are working hard to ‘print’ all those kindle copies.
I feel like I’m missing something. Reamde, The Mongoliad, Anathem, and the majority of the Baroque Cycle were all written in the past tense, weren’t they?
