A “massive diatribe” on the presidency of W is inevitable, I guess. Nevertheless, this gave me a cynical chuckle in that he started out his political career as a wreck of sorts, became a leader in position of power, and then ended up as failed painter. It seems somewhat like the chronological reverse of a German politician his grandfather supported once upon a time. Historical palindrome?
