At least the blog in the VIA had the decency to disguise the link to youtube.
Is there anyway to filter some of the site’s writers?
Cory,David & Mark’s post’s are the only one’s worth reading anymore.
I’d suggest to write a greasemonkey/tampermonkey script.
DAMMIT WHY DID I HAVE TO READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE I CLICKED THE LINK? THE JOKE IS RUINED! RUINED I TELL YOU!
The funny thing is that as a sociology graduate from the late 1990s, I’d have no problem confecting a critique of rickrolling from a critical/queer theory background. But none other than Judith Butler already did it, more or less, in “Performativity and the Pleasure Principle.” By her standards it’s a short read, worth a look.

You don’t have Adblock yet?!
can we settle this - garlic bread stick, or really big dooby?
I’m just going to assume the link is a rickroll and move on with my life.
Are you expressing disappointment with BB?
[edit] Dang, no dice.
Oh, I hope so!
Hmmm… Maybe just a preference?
I’m quite sure there are those who like this kinda of post. Just not my cup of Kopi Luwak .
The funny thing is that as a pro writer, I’d have no problem confecting an ethnomusicological academic paper on the debased discourse of rickrolling, mired as it is in the everpresent fear that you will once again be linked to the video. But it’s already been done: “Explaining away the humor: Rickrolling 5 years out.” By the standards of modern blogging it’s a short read, worth a look.
now i love you
snort And it’s not even April First!
You should’ve used a link shortener.
