I know nothing about code. And I also know nothing about robotics. But I know a lot about pool and how to play it. The solutions that this guy has found to the problems of the seemingly simple act of aiming and moving a pool cue are mind boggling to me. Now if he applies himself to incorporating the advanced planning and positioning that is required to be really good at pool, as well as the subtleties of applying sidespin on the cue ball and other techniques for manipulation, it is beyond incredible that he just did it all in his basement. Truly impressive.

My only criticism is that he didn’t use this to build and improve the pool robot from Silent Running.
