what does this sync with? a Penzu server? Dropbox? iCloud? Are journals exportable in any fashion (in case the company goes under?) is it available on the desktop as well as a device? (I prefer to type on my computer most of the time). Some more information would be helpful.
Is that the lifetime of the user, or of the little-known tech company? I suspect there may be a few decades difference.
