School District Asking SCOTUS to Rule Against "F-Cheer" Cheerleader

Surprisingly this ain’t over yet.

Covered previously on BB by @beschizza (on which I commented in the forum that “fuck school fuck softball fuck cheer fuck everything” is a mantra for surviving high school).

Here’s the update:

The cheerleader was and appears to remain a J Doe in the court paperwork (“B.L.”). S/he/they was referred to as a sophomore in the ACLU’s filing of September 2017. I presume they still stand behind the snapchat-shared sentiment and that “everything” may now explicitly include the school district.

Though Snapchat messages are ephemeral by design, another student took a screenshot of this one and showed it to her mother, a coach.

Ah, school days, the happiest days of our lives.
