Ah, I see a modeling error:

They’re assuming a certain amount of atmospheric moisture. I just guessing that they didn’t account for Sandtrout.

Neat!

I get that this is probably their way of calling attention to serious climate science, but actually I would like more climate models of fictional worlds.

In fact, I’d like to submit my own planet map and see what the climate is like, get questions answered like “how long will this world stay habitable considering it lacks plate tectonics (it was terraformed)” or “does this sweetwater ocean have enough rainfall to be feasible with these rivers draining it?”
(I was feeling rebellious against standard fantasy maps when I mapped out this setting.)
