Already, some people are starting to restrict their digital movements and their conversations as they are “aware that they are being recorded and do not know the extent of the coverage.”

Yyyyup. Equally applicable to mass government surveillance and something a lot of people have been saying for years - those who were paying attention.

Are politicians similarly aware of ubiquitous surveillance? Are they feeling the same kind of oppression? It doesn’t seem to affect the quality or amount of their jibber jabber. They do, however, appear to have better access to state protection of their rights.

Don’t forget to get the microphone too.
