The thumb looks a little short

I have a pet peeve about stitches in this kind of art. As with Frankenstein’s monster, the stitches are supposed to be joining parts from several disparate corpses. Modeling a complete hand, and then just adding stitches, doesn’t achieve this. I mean, the work is good, but it just lacks something for me.
