See the world through Wes Anderson-colored sunglasses

To this day, a good half century plus on, I can remember walks on a dirt country road in Arakasas where this became majical, mystical even. Didn’t have to walk very far from Gramma’s house to be in the country. Hell, the town had a Pop. 63 sign and I never knew where all the rest of them were.

Dear God, that is FUNNY.

I thought the color grading for Saving Private Ryan was pretty useful.

Even this Wes Anderson film?

But film coloring and aging effects different colors differently so you can’t get the effect with just a single filter. This is why digital unlocked so many new looks that couldn’t be done in the analog days.

And sadly, many filmmakers only choose the blue/orange contrast as a quick visual grab.

$20 is my bar for sunglasses. I break them too easily.
