I’ve seen that exact same bit from a right-wing meme at least a year ago. I doubt it’s talking about droplets, just the smell going through. Because to them there’s no difference between a hydrogen sulfide molecule, a coronavirus that’s over a thousand times larger, and a water droplet that’s over a thousand times larger than that. It’s all just mysterious vapors that scientists say whatever about.

I’ve asked those same people how a mask that can’t hold in gas from a fart can hold in the CO2 they claim poisons them when they wear a mask.
So far I just get blank stares.

There’s a difference between people who aren’t wearing masks (but did during the worst of the pandemic), versus people who never wore masks, versus outright antimaskers like MTG and who don’t understand that a hydrogen sulfide gas molecule is a million times smaller than a single SARS-COV-2 virus.
That’s my math, too: 12.5%. But it is definitely the most obnoxious 12.5%.
I don’t know, in my county people wore masks because they were forced to not because they thought they worked.
As soon as mandates were lifted not a mask to be found.
No mandates no masks tells me people don’t believe they work.
