There’s a scene in Renfield where characters talk about how sucky Ska music is I was like “ok you lost me now sorry” and I don’t think the movie ever recovers from that misstep.

I also think a true appreciator of Ska would not have gone with the CGI blood splatter effects and would have done that shit on set and in camera.

I made a spotify playlist with some of my favourite ska guys, plus some i found too fun not to include. Lots of spanish ska, which was very popular in my teenage years.

Will try to make the same list in youtube songs if there’s interest.
