Upon being informed that the juveniles were “dark-skinned”, the SWAT team was deployed in an armoured personnel carrier, and the Department of Homeland Security was brought on site to raise the terror threat level to chartreuse.
My very favorite dispatch came from my undergrad school newspaper. As best I recall, it went like this: “Complainant reported bicycle stolen. Patrol investigated, discovered bicycle rack and other attached bicycles also stolen.”
