Being an artist myself, I’m not particularly drawn to basic geometric design; it has its purpose, but doesn’t move me personally.
I tend more towards photorealism and urban inspired art:

The pics above that look like corporate brochures without the text, knocked up in 30 minutes on Photoshop, yeah, not so much.
Agreed; they are inherently just too ‘generic’ for my tastes.
Even fractals hold more appeal for me:
I will be including Angela Johal’s work in the next edition of Geometry Links, an occasional listserv and webpage (http://geometrylinks.blogspot.com) where I collect and publish links to developments in geometric math, science, and art. Thanks for the tip.
Frank Stella was doing this stuff nearly 60 years ago. It’s still a thing?
