I find the # of people who donated # of dollars in # of days to be an interesting quantification of the support for the two main opposing narratives of this tragedy.

The disparity is surprisingly smaller than I expected, mind. Interesting that more people donated to Michael Brown even though the actual amount is less, too.

Really? I agree with most of your points, but this one is just nutty. Is the Ferguson PD’s evil so deep and subtle they can actually cause an officer in another county to have the same name as their own? Or did they merely rig the Google rankings so a cop in St Louis would come out above their own Darren Wilson, and also all the other Darren Wilsons around the country? Perhaps it’s not sheer coincidence, but I don’t get how.

more crazy from the USA - here we have eight police officers shooting at a black man a total of 46 times. The black man being armed with a pocket knife. Eight police can’t overpower one guy? Or they realise no one will file charges, so a chance to use maximum violence. A summary execution for being homeless
