stayed at the Madonna Inn once passing through SLO. Pretty awesome. Our room had boulders built into the walls, and a “rock shower”. The restaurant is a garish pink with gold highlights that can only be described as “awesome”. They had a big band band playing there the evening I was there. Even if you can’t make the John Waters event, I’d strongly recommend staying there if you’re ever in the area.

Stopped at the restaurant once while driving through the area. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. I give it 5 pink frosted stars.
