Spies tried to infiltrate Citizen Lab and trick them into talking about their research on Israeli spytech company NSO Group

The Evangelicals and conspiracy types doesn’t explain people like Nina Rosenwald and (perhaps until recently) the Mercers. Granted that they’re fanatical about their causes, but to lose track of the fact that the people they support are either antisemitic or will definitely pivot that way come the takeover is nuts.

Yup, it’s a dogpile of crazy.

Yes, we have lots of those people here. But what starts out as “We stand with Israel” for weird theological reasons, seems to turn into trips to Israel, student exchange, and genuine empathy.
Although some people manage it, strong support for Israel cannot easily coexist with antisemitism in the same mind.

BlackCard, Al Jazeera is the state funded broadcaster of Qatar, which is not even Iran’s ally. You can see that in the series Al Jazeera did on the Israel Lobby.
1st in the UK https://www.aljazeera.com/investigations/thelobby/

Then it was going to publish the same type of story about the Israel Lobby in the US, but there was such a blow back from pro-Israel groups in the US that Al Jazeera canned the story. But last year, Electronic Intifada published the videos. https://electronicintifada.net/content/watch-film-israel-lobby-didnt-want-you-see/25876

Velcome to bing bong, thanks for joining just to sow dissent.
Too bad your claims are so laughably mis-informed it’s impossible to mistake them for anything but дезинформация and маскировка.

Israeli-Saudi ties have dramatically improved in recent years primarily due to the shared security interest of neutralizing Iran’s expansionism and potential nuclearization. Nevertheless, the informal association is in its infancy and conditioned on current geopolitical realities that may be fleeting.

By contrast, Israel’s budding relations with other Gulf States have garnered public attention, notably the landmark visit in October by Netanyahu to Muscat, as well as calls by Bahraini officials for Jerusalem’s acceptance and regional integration.
And while bin Salman is the first-ever Saudi leader to recognize Israel’s right to exist, he has been more reserved in his approach.
“Neither side is pushing for public relations because they have more important concerns, which are security cooperation and international affairs. Coordination on these fronts can be done privately,” says Lenny Ben-David, formerly the deputy chief of mission at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C.

This whole thing sounds like something James O’Keefe (of Project “Veritas” infamy) would’ve done, except it wasn’t done more incompetently.

These AP reporters kind of dropped the ball. They couldve tailed any one of the group, found out their identity, and determined who or what is actually responsible.
