Good point. J. R. R. Tolkien was terrible at engineeringā¦ The exact center is a terrible place for a door knob on a big round door. Poor leverage, and it pulls the door into you rather than to the side so you can go through - especially important to people with short limbs.

Iām also imagining round, slick brass to feel remarkably soaplike in oneās grip in case of rain.
I went to the LA meetup! There were really terrible sake bombs and really amazing gift bags. I miss Regretsy so so much.
