Status, social networks, and prior relationships

I’m still digesting this very special article, tagline: ‘Status, social networks, and prior relationships are the forgotten drivers of firm performance.’ It reeks of nepotistic business, but also to me seems just plain wrong in an age of such rapid change.

No wonder things are hard to change.
