I actually bought some lite salt like that, to use in making homemade rehydration solution (similar to Pedialyte) because it has potassium in it as well as sodium (that’s how they “lighten” the sodium).

prepare your own rehydrating solution

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 liter safe drinking water

Yes, I know I’m a bit off-topic, because I’m not talking about plastic. But we’re happy mutants! Everything brings to mind something related! That’s the way it is. Okay, then, I suppose my homemade rehydration solution has some microplastic in it :wink:
