There was a steakhouse called Chris Steakhouse. Ruth bought it and called it Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. It’s a horrible name and so I just love Bolling’s comic about Frankenstein’s Monster’s Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.

We need a game of adding a possessive noun in every post.

Kenneth Branagh’s Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein!

(Which should of course really be Kenneth Branagh’s Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein’s Monster)

Maybe Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula too?

ETA: How about TomPoston’s Bolling’s Frankenstein’s Monster’s Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Game?

Actually, and you can use this in future scripts, there are many superheroes, unlike Doug I’m guessing, in the public domain. My fave is the Black Terror. I plan to write stories about the Black Terror, who has a white face, actually being black because, hey, what a great disguise when you’re fighting crime illegally. But I’m really really certain you can write something funnier. Black Terror vs. Godman or something. Just the origin stories of Madam Fatal and the Red Rube seem funny to me. “What? Your power is that you look like an old lady so therefore you’re harmless? That’s it?”

This way madness lies.

Of course, as He-who-shall-not-be-named-on-BB’s bbs says in Pratchett’s Making Money, “It’s a short trip.”

“Look out, it’s a bunch of Draculas!”

The “How to Draw Doug” feature seems weirdly specific. Is it referring to some recent event?

Perhaps my favorite Zippy the Pinhead comic is him in every panel just saying “Ruth’s Chris’s Steakhouse.”

It’s also great that RCS didn’t get the joke, at all.

I almost laughed out loud! Never understood that Ruth’s Chris thing.

I made Pussycat watch Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein with me and I don’t think she’s forgiven me yet
