Visa needs to be issued in April/May in order for me to move in June so even tighter timeframe. Even though it is a spouse visa, it’s still not a given that it will be granted in time.
Might be a couple of months with my wife in Japan and me couch surfing in Sydney until they open up sufficiently.
The visa application process for a spousal visa takes 1~3 months under normal circumstances, and overseas diplomatic missions are facing quite a backlog, so I hope that you are able to come over as soon as possible, but I also hope that you have a good contingency plan.
