I’m imagining what would happen if such a litigation happened in France. It would likely result (provided it goes that far) in a delicately worded verbal smackdown by the judge, and possibly a condemnation for abuse of process.
Apparently, in the USA, you can be condemned for publishing verifiable facts of public interest. Freedom of the Press? Where?
