I think you missed the second paragraph where the kid out right says the obvious: it’s his own views and and based those close to him. But yes I know the entire article was really simple attempt to steer more attention to your particular chosen cause of the time.

Actually, the article by Danah Boyd goes to great length to mentions this and makes the case, not that Andrew Watts is wrong or shouldn’t have written this piece, but rather that people embracing Andrew’s article as gospel is self serving.
