Anyone want to offer a second opinion on this? Has anyone read it? I’m into this kind of stuff, but I purchased jlw’s previous recommendation in this genre because of his review ( “Ark Royal” ), and it was needlessly confusingly hateful and sexist and clumsy and just… needed work (instead of being pulpy and vapid and good fun), so I’m not sure whether a bad one flew under the under once, or whether these reviews just aren’t for me.
