I’ve not watched beyond the first season of Breaking Bad, and I’ve not watched or read any One Piece; but this reading was very well delivered.

There was a time when I thought “running gags” were great.

Then life started becoming an awful lot like a running gag, with no punch line and no laughter.

…and sadly, it seems like all these parasocial groups with ten layers of in-jokes always devolve into edgelord fashy hate sooner or later. I don’t know why, but that always seems to be the end state.
