I’m a morning word puzzler. Wordle, Quordle, spelling bee and now Croword over my morning coffee. Who needs to read the newspaper anyway? 
I usually save SuDoku for the evening.

An ugly one for me too. I do claim one victory, though: after getting the first letter wrong once, I was blindly typing in a second guess (on turn 5…) before I caught myself, worked out how many possibilities there were (I counted four), and found a word that used all those letters. (I play on easy mode, natch, for this very reason.)
Usually I would have plowed right ahead with the guess on turn 5, and would have left myself with a guess among three words for the last turn.

The Quordle grids have me thinking… reverse Quordle might be an interesting game: you get the final answers in each grid and see if you can reverse-engineer the player’s guesses. There might not be enough data to get all the grays. Maybe it would have to be reverse-Octordle for it to really work.

It is fun to try to guess people’s guesses based on the grids posted, so that might be fun, too.
Right now I’ve gotten very into Croword and it’s probably a very good thing that it’s only renewed daily! I could see spending way too much time playing if you could keep resetting it. It kind of is similar to your idea of reverse engineering the guesses…kind of.

@ClutchLinkey @mcsnee I love going through and trying to reverse-engineer people’s guesses, especially if they include a spoiler for what their first guess was 
I usually do it when looking at the wordle grid, but I guess quordle would be a little spicier.
ETA: my latest quordle starting lineup has been MOUSE, PLANT, BIRCH
