No, but that’s a good idea. I usually do wordle, then Quordle, then spelling bee. So the “ordles” are my warm up for spelling bee instead of the other way around.

I do. And Su Doku. Though, if I have to choose I’ll do Su Doku because the crossword is still accessible the next day, but Su Doku and Spelling Bee are lost forever to the tides of time. 
I’m pretty sure as a member you have the permission needed to start a thread. If you’re on the bbs.boingboing.net screen do you see the option over to the right for “New Topic” ?

yeah i can make new topics but i was gone for awhile and i’m kinda shy and wanted to gauge the room…
and for some reason i can’t get any other games on my app, just the crossword and bee (i get the mini crossword too but i never do those, it’s like finding bubble wrap that’s already popped.) i tried talking to customer service (apparently this is a thing for ios users) but that solved nothing so i gave up. 
i’m mostly in it for the crossword anyway- getting to the point where i could regularly finish saturday is one of my greatest accomplishments

IME, the worst that happens is you start a thread and it fizzles. (I’ve had a couple like that.) But just like losing at Wordle, there are no real-world implications 
That is the most perfect description of the mini that I’ve ever seen. Or maybe finding one that looks full, but there are only 2 bubbles left. 
Congrats! I have little happy songs to sing when I sit down to do the weekend ones. Say what you will about the NYT editorially, but Will Shortz is a genius puzzle editor. The clues are so clever sometimes!
So, in case it’s not obvious, I would totally check in on a crossword puzzle thread.
