The bonus words are a really odd aspect.

I seem to find bonus words at a faster rate than the “real” words. Its a strange exercise in dictionary content guessing embedded in a interesting play mechanic…

OK I think I like this squardle game (although waffle is my current fave).

But I was at 20 bonus words with only 7 “real” words for a while on my first game. I think I have a wierd vocabulary

Okay, I think that so far all of us here have been talking about Squaredle (note spelling) with the bonus words, but there IS a game called Squardle. The grid looks like Waffle, but it starts blank and you have to fill everything in.

If anyone likes physical word games I am enjoying Wordamelon btw. Newish, from the Bananagram maker. It’s a combo of memory, anagrams, and “friendly” (depending on your partner ) competition.

Ha ha, no, and I almost hated to point it out (lest someone feel bad about it), but I have such a tendency to notice details like that, and I happened to hear about that other game which looks pretty challenging (to me, anyway) so I wanted to share the disambiguation with you all.

Thanks for the heads-up on Wordamelon, it sounds like something my sis would really like. She likes all this stuff and I know she plays Bananagrams.
