The MC Hammer handheld electronic game was very strange (and bad)
Where’s the bad part? Execution is pretty par for the course for LCD games, but a dancing game is a pretty interesting concept for the time.
I played a ton of these and, outside of sports games, nearly all of them are a variation on “you’ve gotta fight [this thing].”
I would argue LCD games in general are terrible. There maybe exceptions, but I suspect they are few in number.
Everything old is new again.
Wooowwww this is truly bizarre in the emulator

uhh… good luck? I just spent 3 minutes too much of my life building that so enjoy!
but I did meet MC Hammer at a VC event once, so it was worth it… I … guess?
Seems legit. They don’t really bother my eyes since I started eating the Billion Oyster Project oysters straight from Brooklyn. [Nope.]
Seriously, the flagship phones have crazy resolution, am I supposed to have a giant fresnel magnifier for that stuff that lines up with reading gatefolds and newspapers?
