Thoroughly enjoyed that! It seems that the sound is 6 quarter notes off from the video. Drove me crazy because that hi-hat was the only thing in time! Edit: finger snaps at the beginning too.

I don’t care how you slice it this clip was great. That’s from a child of the 70s and 80s.
I’m going to post Cookie Monster’s “God’s Away on Business” again, because there might still be someone who has missed it.
Unfortunate that the cookiewaits experiment stopped with Hell Broke Luce; there is a rich vein to be mined.
As for Closer, my preferred rendition is from Weird Al’s Alternative Polka, which I first encountered in an FLCL AMV for some reason.
