Vance would be one of the more dangerous fascists out there if he didnāt express so much pride in his Ivy League credentials. Heās probably courting the endorsements of Empty Greene and Biff to counter that perception and get the votes of the Know-Nothings. With respect to the obstruction probe, investigators are said to be scrutinizing a three-way call after the investigation started between Gaetz, his ex, and another woman who was cooperating with federal authorities and who was reportedly recording the phone call. NBC reported that authorities suspect Gaetz of obstructing justice during that conversation; heās denied the allegation.

because we know that concerns relating to sex-workers are irrelevant either (a). because in any sexual transaction for money the only criminal party is the sex-worker; or (b). because sex-work is a victimless crime which should be made legal or at least decriminalized so whatās the big deal?

For the record, he gets one detail wrong that I know of:
Ogele attended Chicagoās Saint Ignatius College Prep. Itās located in Chicagoās West side. Iām pointing this out because I think it lends context to the narrative Martello was stretching to craft on air. He was apparently aware of the crime-laced reputation of the South Side and literally picked up a high school and geographically moved it to fit his tale.
I appreciate his point, that calling it a south side school was meant to inflame racist tendencies in the audience, but itās not a west side school either! St Ignatius is just south of downtown, on the north side of Roosevelt. One could argue itās in the āSouth Loopā, which is an expensive area and not disadvantaged in any way. Itās where every child in the Daley family (two mayors, so far) goes to for high school, for example.
