So, one the real joys of parenting; my kid is about to turn 18. They were out at a club with their girlfriend a couple weekends back. Texted me to tell me “this club is awesome, they’re playing Death Cab and Belle & Sebastian between bands, you would love it here!” And now they’re absolutely stoked to go see this show. Just a lot of fun being able to share things like this with them.

I’m not as familiar with The Postal Service, but I would propose naming the tour “Fact Not Fiction (For the First Time in Years).”

I’ve had the impression that exposure to a song tends to reoccur after about 20 years via “garage bands,” so I’m curious if they said which album they heard.
