The security hole found by civic minded security experts who announced they’d found it to the world is fixed. Not that I was in the market for one anyway, but if I was I’d find that a little less-than-reassuring. Sort of like someone releasing a car and someone else saying, “Hey, the brake lines aren’t attached!” and the car manufacturer saying, “Oh, hey, so they aren’t. Well, okay, we attached them, all good now, right?”

Hey, the ‘S’ in ‘IoT’ stands for security.
