I saw “wangs” and thought of you.
I tend to focus on DONGs, but this is a good cross from a book I was fond of as a lad: Willy Wong, American. Set in SF, natch. An Amazon page lists the book as 1967, but I thought it dated to the 30s or 40s. Perhaps just set back then? Or I’m pulling a Brian Williams.

Based on this non-fiction book (1967), she may have ended up a librarian.
