I have this… I’ve only leafed through it, but it’s pretty good.
Clever use of the unreliable narrator.
Of course they’re pronounced the same in many varieties of English, but they’re spelled differently: What you do when you play “with the author and the authority” is meddle, not mettle. (Tho while you’re at it, you’d best be on your mettle.)
