“Edwardian Era” feels kind of like a pretentious title for what is essentially a decade (I had to google exactly what years this referred to).
days were a lot longer because they didn’t have the internet to pass time. years took so long… well, you couldn’t even imagine. and a decade: that’s ten of those.
( apparently, even christmas felt like twelve days back then. there’s a whole song and everything )
