Okay… what happened to this thread exactly?
Let’s talk about rich people and their taxes!
Why is your shirt bunched up? What are you hiding?
Probably poor posture.
But since you asked, here you go:

My shoulders aren’t quite as big right now since I shifted my routines after trashing my L5/S1 disk doing squats. I was a power lifter until fairly recently.
Now I KNOW you’re up to no good!
(Honestly I’d have been disappointed if you weren’t)
Apparently, talking about how rich people tend to be treated differently in our system pisses people off so much they are yelling at each other instead of the rich people? I mean, my family probably pays a larger percentage of our income in taxes than, say Mittens Romney, right? Is that fair? Isn’t that the point, that some people can get out of their shared social obligations in our society?
I think it is more likely the more typical “my guy, my guy” political thing that we all fall into, especially during election seasons. I know that I have to mute a chunk of my friends list on Twitter and Facebook for a while as elections approach, even the ones with whom I agree. People get very brittle around it all.
That probably says something about how precarious things are for a lot of folks and also how illegitimate the current political setup feels to people.
Do you follow @cowicide?
Oh man. I asked for it, didn’t I? Jeezem crow. Almost as bad as getting rickrolled!
I follow a security researcher, whom I know in person, that, as each election cycle approaches completion, posts more and more rants about how morally bankrupt it all is, how voting just enables it, corruption, etc. and if you disagree with her, even as a friend, you’re liable to get a massive amount of invective back. I just took to unfollowing her for three or four months at a time every cycle.
An opportunity missed!
I got to show my delts instead.
Are we your target audience?
Wait…don’t answer that. Let’s just savor the mystery!
Methinks he means I should have baited you with a rickroll retort. But I’m just a preschooler at Sister Mary Margaret’s.
It is hard to rickroll people these days.
Bridges are for burning, not hiding under.
Any gym rat will tell you that the target audience is “whoever will look!”
