I am ashamed to say I fell for one of the first one of these that showed up on BB. It was for a “great headlamp on sale”. I bought the damn thing because I thought the editors actually thought it was a cool find. When I got it I realized what a cheap piece of shit it was and gave it to my daughter as a toy.

I will say the Samsung Tab series are pretty good tablets if you aren’t big on Apple. I have a Tab S3 and gave my parents the 8" Tab A (2016 model) and both are still kicking. The tab A is getting a bit sluggish, but they were never marketed as top tier (or with top tier pricing) either. I know my local Costco discounts their in store model during the holiday seasons.
