Beware! Engineering is strong stuff. When you learned about fonts and kerning, suddenly every sign that was not perfect gave you pain. Well, it is like that but extended to all made things, and the pain never stops. Particularly with bathroom fittings and toilet seats. But you can take joy from simple things that work well too.

That’s so damn cool. My first career was in nursing, and we had so many patients that could have benefited from this. Especially after a stroke, where they lost abilities on one side.
