Been using one of these for pourovers for awhile now and really love it. Stainless steel. Machine washable.
If the question is “What will happen if I turn this over?”, then yes.

That Malitta cone is what I use. Low-tech, inexpensive, effective. I don’t require that it be pretty; I just want a good cup of coffee. I don’t buy the #2 filters, either (hard to find here). I use a regular paper filter.

I have the same one with a cork collar. Or did, as I just broke it, haha. Love it though, thankfully it’s cheao at Target so I’ll have another this evening. And now a spare collar and filter
