deep-sea creature … can live at depths ranging from 10 meters…

I’ve seen them in the Caribbean at depth of 50 feet and below. They’re amazing when fully unfurled; almost like a big waving spiderweb facehugger.

Once curled up and moving, they remind me of a Scotch Brite scouring pad. Nature is truly amazing.

It does look like that.

Here’s what’s happening - the one on the right is being created by the one on the left while the one on the left is being created by the one on the right. Weird wild stuff.
