Yes he is a cute dog.
But it appears he is being used for likes.
He certainly seems to like it alright.
So what? I didn’t claim that he was mistreated.

I mean is he really being used if he’s getting what he wants (a pool party)? 
His owners seem to be doing all the work anyway.
Dog prefers chemically treated water to the salty (?) stuff merely yards away?
I guess the mistake was to ‘condition’ him by letting him in the pool when a puppy. I bet if he’d first gone in the natural water he’d be going there every morning. Or maybe there is no easy exit from the water there?

Letting a dog behave in a way that leads him to believe that he can join any pool party is not going to be great for the dog in the long run. First couple of times, okay, but encouraging the dog is not responsible ownership.
