wait, you mean in movies shot in IMAX there’ll be some scenes in a different aspect ratio than others? I must have been oblivious to that.

I really don’t see the problem. The aspect ratio is telling us how to feel about the scene? Wait, is that shaky hand-cam, giving us a sense of cinema verite? Next thing you know they’ll include spooky music in a scene to tell us that it’s spooky!
