We are lucky to have one here where I live as well, it’s awesome. The Grable Foundation purchased it and placed it in Allegheny RiverTrail Park (formerly Aspinwall Riverfront Park) for all to enjoy.

The 14th Street and 8th Ave subway station has a bunch of his sculptures. I remember loving them as a high school student (I used that station every day).

Such a fun way to make a dull commute more interesting.


ETA: Wow. I read the full article I linked to. In 1977, Tom Otterness filmed an “art” video where he killed a dog.

He may make cute sculptures, but he also shot a dog to make a video in the '70s.
