Paging LockPickingLawyer, paging LockPickingLawyer. Please come to the front desk.
Will this be one of the vanishingly small members of the community of high tech locks that don’t make some horrible blunder in the physical security aspect? I’m not spending $65 to find out.
Why would anyone want a security system that would still work with a removed body part?
There’s a reason the penis lock never caught on…
I always assumed it was called Winter.
I cringed when I saw this post as it looks similar (not identical) to this one I’d seen him do before:
I came here to do the same.
we all did. no other reason to comment on an ad.
Perhaps marketing them as Bobbitt brand locks wasn’t such a good idea.
Still, they did have a damned effective deterrent mechanism against people trying to compromise them twice.
Thinking the same thing!
In fact, if they dare send one to the LockPickingLawyer, it may actually count as some serious publicity depending on the kind of specialised tools the LPL needs to defeat this one…
Or not.
I believe those security holes are amply dealt with in role playing games set in the near and far futures. Traveller, for instance.
This is because clever players would do things like keep fingers around on ice, and the locks would need a way of detecting normal body heat. This solution would be introduced at a particular Tech Level.
Remember when ads for the BB shop were not masquerading as content? And didn’t make up 50% of the content?
