I would usually think “there must be some kind of possible economic benefit for these donors” just like in a US election (tax breaks, deregulation, etc.) but this would appear to be based completely on Islamophobia.
The Dutch far right use gay rights as a stick to beat Muslims with. The Scandanavian far right say that welfare systems are only sustainable in homogeneous societies, because people don’t want their taxes paying for benefits for people who are, um, different.

You might be confusing that with the French elections, where Putin is most definitely giving funding to the FN through his banking cronies, or with the Austrian elections, where the right-wing Freedom Party has affiliated itself with Putin’s political party.
Wilders will serve Putin’s goals of destabilising Western liberal-democratic institutions, promoting bigotry and ultra-nationalism, and pulling apart the EU quite nicely, though.
Confusing, isn’t it?
