I haven’t tried them, but the spicy deep fried crickets they do in Thailand look pretty damn good.
No need to forego meat. Quail, rabbit, and nice juicy roast javelina will do the trick without water, fossil fuels, or crop cultivation. What’s the carbon footprint of a single carefully-aimed bullet?
I love eating insects, after they’ve been converted to quail. Now I need to create a GMO land-lobster to complete the meal.
