“This is not what I had in mind in wishing that Texas becoming a blue state.”

(I am so stealing that quote.)

The GOP and its enablers will go to their graves pointing fingers, denying reality and trying to take everyone they can down with them.

I remember reading about Shackleton, his crew, and their ordeal. They said that they had to eat the little guys and it was easy food source because penguins didn’t have any fear of humans. :worried:

I feel like the right answer here is, because War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength.

What the GOP forgets is that AOC could use her superpowers to make their heads literally explode. If she wanted to.

OK, I should have verified that particular image but renewable power in the Antarctic is a real thing.

There was a more accurate image to use. But it didn’t have the adorable penguins.

AOC is raising money for Texans. Because she is a better person than her detractors.

She’s more useful to the people of Texas than their governor and at least one senator.

It is going to be fascinating to watch how Republicans spin AOC’s fundraising as a bad thing while continuing to excuse Cruz.

Oh, it’ll be the same old appeal to empty pride and anti-“elitism” regarding the outsider Ocasio-Cortez: “you think you’re better than me, trying to give me charity, Miss High-n-Mighty New York smartypants?”

And it’ll be the same old appeal to “family values” and aspirational selfishness regarding the insider Cruz: “he’s just doing the same thing any good father would. If I had his* money I’d have done the same.”

[both said while trying to keep warm by boiling drinking water]

The Know-Nothing 27% is always an easy mark for the GOP in that way.

[* it’s mostly his wife’s money, but they won’t say that]
